Danse des Ondes

2015
for percussion and electronics

Duration: 7 minutes

About

Dance des Ondes is a piece for Tibetan bowls and real-time electronics. I wanted to work on the idea of serene meditation, which evolves into autonomous musical events with their own life and character. The electronics slide and transpose the notes of the bowls at the same moment they are played, thus creating ephemeral harmonics, intimately linked to the performer’s playing.”
