“‘Clarity’ and ‘Transformation’. Composed around the idea of the birth of the physical element of the nebula, this piece is structured around these two terms. The women’s voices and the clarinet trace the natural development of the death of the star and the creation of the cloud through harmonies and rhythms that are both stable and in constant internal evolution. The clarinet navigates these transformations of sonic tableaux with freedom.”
