About

Pierre Clouée is inspired by the Sidobre massif, in the heart of the Haut-Languedoc Regional Natural Park, and more specifically by the Peyro Clabado, a gigantic granite boulder nicknamed "the nailed stone." The contrast between the solo instrument and the immensity of these stones becomes the driving force of a writing that seeks to make the fragility of the violin resonate in the face of mineral permanence.”
