“Transcendence explores the extreme virtuosity of the two pianos in a tense and contrasting sonic journey. Chromaticisms, omnipresent, become the raw material of the writing: fluid and fast, they intertwine, overlap, and create ever-moving flows. The piece balances density and lightness: each gesture seeks to cross a boundary. This dialogue between the two instruments traces a path of momentum and surpassing, where the music always seems to want to go beyond itself.”
