About
“Un monde plus mou originally comes at the end of The Cold Song Project.
After a long continuous flow, where pulse and memory have shaped a journey of experiences, this piece proposes a final state: that of a world that does not stiffen, but instead softens, bends, and dissolves.
The pulse persists, but as if absorbed by a sound material that has become more fragile, more unstable. The musical colors gradually fade into a supple, almost porous texture. Time itself seems to soften, losing its relentless rigor to open up to an ambiguous ending: neither triumph nor downfall, but a gentle, suspended drift.
Un monde plus mou acts as a landing, a final lullaby.”
