About
They call me universe and say I am obscure
But whoever comes to me meets my stars,
And whoever sends me their eyes as one hoists sails
Will know from the past the dreams of the future.
I know the earth as an island, infantile and pregnant,
Watching the horizon for a different sun,
For being the universe I am also a parent,
And I know its desire to become holy again.
When you contemplate me, know that I see you
Lifting vers mes cieux vos regards pleins d’ivresse,
And that through each of you I grow endlessly
For I would be within you if you believe in me.
Whoever seeks to change finds me deep in the soul,
They call me universe and say I am heartless,
And if I seem black like a strangler
It is to better awaken your desire for flame.
