About
True to its commitment to young artists, the Orchestre de chambre de Paris launched an international academy in 2021 to support the emergence of young women composers. The 2021-2025 edition is supervised by Thomas Lacôte and Clara Olivares.

2021-2022 Season
May / June 2021:
- meeting with potential candidates
- motivation interview
September 20, 2021:
- meeting with Lars Vogt and the orchestra musicians
- meeting with the artistic team
- exploration and discovery of scores
- preparation of workshops with Thomas Lacôte and Clara Olivares
November 12, 2021:
- “Writing for Strings” workshop
December 3, 2021:
- “Writing for Winds” workshop
February 23, 2022:
- group workshop with Thomas Lacôte present
March 7 and 16, 2022:
- group workshop with the musicians
April 22, 2022:
- A miniature for 10 musicians (string quintet, wind quintet) performed under the direction of Lars Vogt at the Philharmonie de Paris Studio.
2022-2023 Season
Autumn / Winter 2022:
- 1 session with orchestra leaders, presentation, listening to scores
- 1 percussion workshop
- 2 or 3 individual sessions on a large ensemble piece, including one with a mentor
- 1 collective workshop for preparing the score and parts with the librarian
Spring / Summer 2023:
- 1 public workshop with the orchestra
- 1 collective session with debriefing
- rewrites after the workshop
- rehearsals and concert of the large ensemble piece
